A worked example

It teaches the method, not just the answer

Give Vidya a tough Maths or Science problem and it does not dump a final number on you. It walks through each step, pauses to make sure it clicks, and lets you ask "why" until the concept is genuinely yours.

  • Reasoning shown step by step, not just the result
  • Ask follow-ups in the same conversation
  • Explains a second way when the first does not click

I do not get how to factorise x² + 5x + 6
Good question. We need two numbers that multiply to 6 and add to 5. Can you think of a pair?
2 and 3?
Exactly. So it factorises to (x + 2)(x + 3). Want to try the next one yourself?

Built for Nepal

Switch to Nepali whenever it helps

For many students the concept is not hard - the English is. Vidya can explain a topic in Nepali so it actually makes sense, then give you the exact English terms the SEE or NEB paper will expect.

  • Explanations available in Nepali and English
  • NEB and SEE syllabus aligned
  • Exam terminology taught alongside the concept

Before you sign up

Is your subject actually in here?

Six subjects have a tutor built for them specifically. Three do not, and we would rather you knew that now than in week three.

Mathematics

Dedicated tutor. Step-by-step working, and formulas that render properly instead of a mess of slashes.

Science

Dedicated tutor. Explains the concept before the answer, and will keep going until it clicks.

English

Dedicated tutor, plus the Reading Coach for comprehension and vocabulary.

नेपाली

Dedicated tutor. Ask in Nepali, get answered in Nepali.

Social Studies

Dedicated tutor, tuned to how the SEE paper actually asks these questions.

Computer Science

Dedicated tutor for the Class 10 elective.

Account

General tutor only - no dedicated persona yet.

Economics

General tutor only - no dedicated persona yet.

Optional Maths

General tutor only - no dedicated persona yet.

Dedicated means a tutor persona tuned to how that subject is taught and examined in Nepal - not a general chatbot told to be a teacher. The three without one still work through the general tutor; they just will not know the exam pattern the way the others do.

The real problem

Doubts do not wait for tuition class

It is 11pm, you are three questions into Trigonometry, and question four will not move. The teacher went home at four and the tuition centre shut at seven. By morning the doubt is not solved, it is forgotten - and it is still there in Chaitra when the paper asks it again.

How it works

From stuck to "I get it" in three steps

1

Pick your subject

Choose the tutor for Maths, Science, English, Nepali, Social Studies, Computer Science - or just start a general chat.

2

Ask in your own words

Type or speak your question in English or Nepali. Paste a problem, describe where you are stuck, or pull it in from homework.

3

Learn step by step

Vidya guides you through the reasoning, checks your understanding, and saves the whole chat so you can revise it later.

What Vidya does

A real tutor, not a search box

Vidya holds a proper conversation - it remembers what you asked, adapts to your grade, and walks you through the reasoning instead of just handing over an answer.

Step-by-step explanations

Vidya breaks every problem into small steps and checks you are following along. Ask "why?" at any step and it explains the reasoning again - a different way if the first did not land.

Subject-specific tutor personas

A dedicated persona for Maths, Science, English, Nepali, Social Studies, Computer Science and a general tutor - each tuned to how that subject is actually taught and examined in Nepal.

English and Nepali

Ask in whichever language you think in. Vidya can explain a hard concept in Nepali and then show you the English terms you will need for the exam paper.

Maths equations rendered cleanly

Fractions, powers, roots and formulas display properly with LaTeX-style rendering, so a Maths or Physics derivation is actually readable - not a mess of slashes and carets.

Voice in, voice out

Speak your question and listen to the answer read aloud at a comfortable pace. Useful for revision on the go and for students who learn better by listening.

The conversation at home

What to say when your parents ask what this is

You probably cannot sign up without talking to someone about it first. These are the four questions that come up, and honest answers to them.

"Is this going to cost money every month?"
No. There is no subscription and nothing renews. You start with 100 free credits and only ever pay if you use them up and want more - the smallest top-up is NPR 50. If you never top up, nothing happens; the account just stops doing AI things until you do.
"Will it just do your homework for you?"
It is built not to. Ask Vidya a Maths problem and it walks through the working step by step rather than handing over the final number - and it stops to check the step landed before moving on. The point is to be able to do the next one alone.
"Is it teaching you the right syllabus?"
It follows the CDC curriculum and the NEB and SEE exam patterns, chapter by chapter, rather than a generic foreign syllabus. Dates and study plans run on the Bikram Sambat calendar, so a plan works around Dashain and Tihar instead of ignoring them.
"Does this replace your teacher or your tuition?"
No, and it is worth being straight about that. It is there at eleven at night when a chapter will not go in and there is nobody to ask. A teacher who knows you will always beat it for the things that matter most.
